Got an email this morning from the state saying my annual report filing was "accepted." But when I log into the portal, it still shows "pending review" and there's no confirmation number anywhere. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm worried it's a scam or a glitch. I paid the fee already and have the receipt from their payment processor, but I can't find any way to actually verify the acceptance. Anyone dealt with this before?

Check your spam folder for a second email with an attachment. Sometimes the acceptance notice gets split from the actual confirmation. Also, the portal can lag by a day or two.
I've seen this. The portal is notoriously slow to update. The email is usually the official record. Did it come from a .gov address? If so, you're probably fine.
This is why I aways print the confirmation page AND save the email as a PDF. The portal is a mess. Last year mine showed pending for three weeks after I got the acceptance email.

Calling is your best bet. They can usually see the acceptance on their end even if the portal hasn't caught up. Have your receipt number ready.
Also, don't trust the portal's "pending" status as gospel. I've had filings that showed pending forever and then one day just vanished into "accepted." It's like the system only updates on Tuesdays or something.
Honestly the portal is the worst part of doing business in this state. I've Started keeping a screenshot log of everything just in case.

Called this morning. Took 40 minutes but they confirmed it was accepted and the portal just hadn't synced. They said it could take another 48 hours to show up. Thanks everyone.
