Filed my articles of organization last week and the state website just says “pending.” I know it varies but I'm curious how long it actually took for other people here. I'm in Ohio if that matters. Trying not to obsessively refresh the page every hour.

How long did it take for your llc to get approved?
Two days for me in Wyoming. I think I got lucky though.
Ohio here too. Mine took 9 business days but that was in 2022. A friend filed in January and got approved in 3 days. Total crapshoot.
You’re refreshing every hour? Rookie numbers. I had a browser tab open on my phone and checked it every time I unlocked the the screen. My wife called it my “LLC slot machine.” Anyway, 6 days for me in Colorado. The “pending” limbo is the worst part.
Filed in Ohio last month. 4 business days. But I paid the extra $100 for expedited because I’m impatient.
Wait, Ohio has an expedited option? I didn’t see that when I fi led. Might depend on the filing method.
Mine took almost three weeks. I called the state office on day 15 and the guy said “we’re a little backed up.” Gee thanks. It eventually came through, no issues.
Three weeks? I would’ve lost my mind. Did you file online or by mail?
Online. Still slow. But honestly it was fine — I wasn’t opening a bank account for another month anyway.
